What is BOTOX ®?
World famous for revolutionising the world of aesthetics, BOTOX® or “Botulinum Toxin Type A” is used to relax the muscles around targeted areas of the face and soften the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles on the face, neck and around the eyes.
Anti-wrinkle injections are used to diminish the lines created every time you smile or frown. These lines appear due to the facial muscles folding and creasing in the skin. Over time these creases become deeper and more noticeable, eventually developing into fine lines and crow’s feet. These lines can cause the appearance of ageing and tiredness in the face.
Botox® softens fine lines and in many cases can prevent or delay other lines from forming.
The procedure itself takes just 10 to 20 minutes with results visible in the following 7 to 10 days; these results will continue to improve for around a month after the procedure lasting from 4 to 6 months. Results may vary for each person, depending on the severity of wrinkles and the strength of muscles treated.

FAQ’s
What is involved in the Wrinkle Relaxing Injections treatment?
Wrinkle Relaxing Injections consist of small amounts of high-quality toxins, administered as a muscle relaxing injection for the treatment of wrinkles.
Very small amounts of Botulinum Toxin Type A are injected into the target areas using a tiny needle. This blocks the impulse from the nerve to the facial muscles, reducing the contractions that cause wrinkles. Following the treatment, the skin over the muscles looks smooth and even.
Botox® procedures are performed on an outpatient basis and most people return directly to work or normal activities following treatment.
Who’s it for?
Men and Women from 30 years old who are concerned about the appearance of fine lines or wrinkles and looking for a facial rejuvenation treatment.
As we age, skin loses its elasticity, and dynamic wrinkles begin to form. Fine lines can make us look older than we are, or can ruin the overwise healthy-looking skin.
Does the injection hurt?
The needle used is very fine and only a tiny amount of substance is used so pain is minimal. No sedation or local anaesthesia is required.
If you are worried the plastic surgeon can make it painless for you with numbing cream. Just remember you need more time if you need this as it can take 20 minutes to numb before having the treatment.
How long does the treatment take?
Approximately fifteen minutes. You can then get straight back to work or your normal activities
The Results
Lines and wrinkles will be smoothed out and you’ll be left with a youthful, glowing appearance.
You’ll start noticing improvements in two to three days. The overall effects will be visible in about a week.
How long will the results last?
The effects can last from three up to six months, at which point you can book a top up treatment. Clinical studies indicate that this treatment has a cumulative effect, so you should need fewer injections as time goes on.
Downtime
None. You can go back to work with none of your friends or colleagues the wiser.
Are there any side effects?
Only tiny amounts of Botulinum Toxin are used, so this treatment is not harmful. The most common side effects are temporary and localised bruising, slight redness of the skin and occasionally slight swelling at the injection site.
Complications from Botox® are rare; the most common side effects include:
Headache
Bruising and numbness at the injection site
Temporary eyelid droop (“ptosis”)
Nausea.

I am travelling in south and south-east Asia and was fortunate to find Jane who helped me book my appointments and make everything a breeze. I am over the moon with my refreshed look at such great prices.
I did have some initial swelling, but then I ended up with a very good result. The treatment was painless and I am all ready for the new year.
